A few weeks ago, my sisters and I finished watching Heroes. We planned to watch it together so nobody is left behind. I think the series has a good plot and Tim Kring made a terrific job on managing different characters in the story.
My personal favorites are Hiro(I will use his power to travel in different places without a visa..herro Nu York!), Parkman (who can hear people's thoughts) and Nicky (because she's just drop-dead gorgeous). I've read on another website that season 2 is on its way this coming October with a beautiful new character to keep me watching. That's right guys, Ali Larter won't be the only "hot" hero because Kristen Belle who played Veronica Mars, would be joining the cast. According to the article she will play the role of a young and sexy hero though her power is not yet disclosed.
When I was a kid my heroes were Superman and Spiderman. Now it's just Spidey when I grew up. I remembered being envious to my cousins because they have the costumes. My parents thought that it's expensive at that time so I didn't get one. There was one time that my cousins and one of our neighbors wore their costumes. I improvised by getting a blue sweater, a blue pajama and a pair of white socks from our closet. Who am I impersonating? I was Aquaman. Err!
I think that some of us are already Heroes. We don't need powers to become one. I knew a mother who is raising her kids on her own with a drug addict husband. There was a son who helped his father to work for the tuition fees of his siblings. Missionaries go to a communist country to preach the Word of God. I'm sure you have stories of your own. They are the heroes of our modern time.
