The controversial videos made the celebrity doctor evil on its finest form in the eyes of some Filipinos. Of course, making sex videos with different women is just unacceptable, specially here in our so-called "conservative" and "religious" country. It is so easy to hate Hayden (plus the person who uploaded the video) and give our deepest sympathies to the women on these clips. But before we put this guy on the execution chamber, let us examine first if he is really the only one to blame.
The Philippines has the largest "Christian" population in Asia (and by this I mean whatever sect you belong to - Catholic, Protestant, etc.) . I don't know of any Christian church that promotes premarital sex. Having this premise, I want to point out how furious we are solely on the creation and uploading of the videos but not to the fact that these people (not only Hayden) committed something which is forbidden. I feel sorry for the women involved with this frenzy but I think they only have themselves to blame for what happened.
Maybe you're thinking, "Okay, now that we know that it was not only Hayden's fault, can I now cast the first stone?" -Not exactly! The reason that these videos are so controversial is because WE are also a part of it. If we practice the same immoral act, if we Googled, clicked on a link, downloaded, saved in whatever-type-of-storage-device, shared/showed it with someone, all for our own pleasure, then we are all as guilty as the people responsible for these videos. As for Hayden and the others, I hope they will be penalized, enough for them to learn their lesson but not too much to prevent them in starting a new life. Just in case you're wondering about the weird blog title, I just made it up only to prove my point.
